System Software Engineer - Embedded and Automotive (RDSS Intern)

Now, we are now looking for System Software Engineers in Automotive or Embedded field! You will work directly in developing or integrating NVIDIA software technologies into various NVIDIA Tegra platforms, including platform bring up, driver porting and integration, use case development, and problem solving. The candidate might work with the other team to provide deep technical assistance and also assist HW to achieve fully optimized design with NVIDIA products and provide HW feedback as to product features and software improvements. We are open to new college graduates!!

What you'll be doing:

  • Work directly in developing or integrating NVIDIA automotive or embedded software technology into various NVIDIA automotive or embedded platforms.
  • Create and implement software features.
  • Might work with customers to provide deep technical assistances.
  • Assist customers to achieve fully optimized design with NVIDIA products.
  • Provide partner feedback as to product features and software improvements.

What we need to see:

  • MS in CS, CE, EE, Systems Engineering or related software/hardware engineering major.
  • Good English language skills to work effectively with global teams.
  • Experience at Linux, QNX or Android.
  • Background with working on embedded systems and ARM processor specific.
  • Excellent C skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-managing and ability to break down complex problems in to manageable tasks.
  • Experience working in following areas is a plus: device drivers, multimedia, graphics, camera software stack, OpenCL, OpenCV, CUDA, Deep Learning, and AI.
