We are looking for a Solution Architect for the Telecommunications Industry team with domain specific knowledge and experience in Networking and Datacenter infrastructure! At NVIDIA, our Solution Architects are drawn from best-in-class engineers, architect, developers, and scientists who enjoy working with the latest technologies in networking, GPUs and AI. NVIDIA's platform are broadly used across leading academic research centers, telecommunication and cable providers, industry software vendors and ecosystem start-ups. We need a passionate, hard-working, and creative individual to help us pursue more of these opportunities in telecommunications industry with specific focus on networking use cases in the telecommunications, and network service operator use cases. This role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor and leader who believe that accelerated computing, deep learning, advanced data science, and artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the entire telecommunication domain.

As a Solutions Architect, you will bring focus and technical expertise about NVIDIA technological advances to the telecommunication community. Your duties will vary from driving internal validation and benchmarking of our product portfolio, frameworks, SDKs, and toolkits to inventing proof-of-concept and driving customer adoptions. Dynamically engaging with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT managers and senior leaders is an important part of the Solution Architects role.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide technical advisory to partners and customers, educating them on new NVIDIA technologies and platforms.
  • Engage with customer field trials and technical teams.
  • Be a technical bridge between core product engineering team and partners/customers engineering team.
  • Document and share your findings through targeted trainings, sharing sessions, whitepapers, blogs, and wiki articles.
  • Realize the NVIDIA vision by integrating network architectures for telecommunication, cloud services, edge computing, network management, and security solutions.
  • Manage technical project aspects of complex data center deployments, including design-in opportunities and responding to RFP/RFI proposals.
  • Engage with NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCP) to drive initiatives, shape new business opportunities, and cultivate collaborations in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • We make heavy use of conferencing tools, but some travel is required for this role.

What we need to see:

  • MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other Engineering fields (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of work-related proven industry experience in telecommunication industry, networking hardware, networking software system development, or systems engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications networking concepts, in specific SDN/NFV, virtualization and cloud-native, edge compute (MEC), VNF eco-system, cybersecurity.
  • Experience in server systems architecture (processors, memory sub systems, etc.) including hands-on experience.
  • An ability to switch between high-level systems view and low-level detail view of complex systems and to understand, promote and troubleshoot full-stack solutions and designs.
  • Ability to take a technical leadership role in a project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate with management and engineering.
  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background with generative AI and Deep Learning software architecture and frameworks.
  • Experience working with modern and multi-tenant application deployment practices including but not limited to Docker/Containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-scale orchestration.
  • Experience with telecommunication systems or design tools.

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 276,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
