NVIDIA aims at harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and accelerated computing to substantially accelerate the energy sector. We build GPU-accelerated solutions, deep learning and breakthroughs in physics-Machine Learning approaches applied to the power industry.

We are looking for a Solution Architect to support applications in geophysics, power generation and transmission. Solution architects are trusted technical advisors to the customers, they work closely with academic research and with industry. We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and creative candidate to drive our AI solutions including Generative AI applied to the energy sector.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with academic research, public sector organizations and industrial customers
  • Support the power industry business development and sales team
  • Work and communicate with internal teams to develop solutions aligned with customer's requirements
  • Support the development of power generation and distribution use-cases in conjunction with customers
  • Keep learning the latest innovations in high performance computing and deep learning techniques
  • Give trainings and conferences on results using NVIDIA GPUs and platforms

What we need to see:

  • MS/PhD in Geophysics, Engineering, Computational Science/Physics, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience with AI, ML, DL, and/or Generative AI
  • 5+ years of industrial experience in high performance seismic imaging, geophysics and subsurface and/or power systems
  • Good programming skills using Python
  • Experience in scientific/engineering simulations (e.g. reservoir modeling, earth science, smart grids, renewables, nuclear energy, etc)
  • Experience in developing or using major deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow etc)
  • Familiarity with containers, numerical libraries, modular software design
  • Solid written and oral communications skills and familiarity with collaborative environments
  • Team players, creative abilities, can learn and adapt quickly

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience using NVIDIA GPUs and platforms
  • Hands-on experience using HPC systems
  • Good knowledge of Physics-Machine Learning
  • Experience in Scientific Visualization
  • Background in digital twin technologies
