Software Engineering Intern, Map Infrastructure - 2025

Beijing, China

NVIDIA is developing AV software to power L2-4 autonomy in consumer vehicles, and as part of that effort, mapping software is one of the most essential components in the ecosystem. SD/HD maps are required to provide crucial information for driving, and they increase safety via redundant systems. Building large-scale maps at low cost is still a big challenge for the whole industry. It requires super-efficient infrastructures that can run pipelines to process petabytes of raw data from various sensors, such as LiDAR, Radar, cameras, GPS, IMU etc. We need a variety of talents to help us build the most cost effective map engine which builds fresh and complete maps all over the world to supercharge the development of self-driving vehicles. In this role, you will work alongside leaders in the industry to build a reliable, scalable and efficient map infrastructure. NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us. If you're creative and autonomous, we want to hear from you!
