Senior System Validation Engineer

Are you ready to make an impact in a collaborative and innovative environment? We're looking for a Senior System Validation Engineer to join our dynamic Firmware Integration team. In this role, you'll help plan, build, and integrate NVIDIA's next-generation computing platforms, setting the stage for our software stack in production.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and bring up complex hardware systems in the lab, involving network and compute components.
  • Identify, diagnose, and address high-value problems during the product onboarding process, including software compatibility, PCIe, security, and network interoperability.
  • Integrate network software and hardware components into embedded CPU and GPU platforms, collaborating closely with product and system teams.
  • Address and resolve high-impact issues from the field, working with global hardware and software engineering teams.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MSc in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in low-level software development, board design, or system validation.
  • Proven ability to read hardware block diagrams and schematics, along with practical lab experience.
  • Proficiency in coding within a Linux environment.
  • Demonstrated mastery of communication interfaces such as PCI, SPI, and I2C.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interdisciplinary knowledge.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience resolving system bring-up issues, including software-hardware interfaces, power management, network applications, device drivers, and PCI.
  • Hands-on experience with complex embedded systems and in the semiconductor industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of managing schedules and resolving issues in complex scenarios.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment with evolving requirements.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
