NVIDIA's Silicon Solutions Group (SSG) seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join the Hardware Architecture Development (HW ArchDev) team. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to engage in the full product development cycle, from architecture definition through product release. As part of the HW ArchDev team, you will drive system-level feature development, tradeoff analysis, and system Product of Record (POR) alignment, focusing on memory technologies like DDR, LPDDR, and HBM.

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze future DDR/LPDDR/HBM technologies to assess trends in performance, power, defective, and margins, ensuring alignment with NVIDIA product segment goals.
  • Collaborate with memory system architects and external vendors to ensure high quality and reliability in-memory technologies and product designs.
  • Architect features passionate about quality, reliability, and availability that address the challenges of high power density, temperature requirements, voltage margining, and material variations.
  • Influence vendor quality strategies and develop in-house test and qualification strategies to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Analyze functional and test data to propose short-term workarounds and long-term fixes.

What we need to see:

  • Deep understanding of memory subsystems used in high-performance computing, including DDR5/6, LPDDR4/5/6, and HBM3/4.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), Systems Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of demonstrated ability, or a Master's degree (MS) with 6+ years of proven track record in a related hardware engineering role.
  • Experience architecting system features and developing test and manufacturing strategies for high-quality memory.
  • Strong ability to analyze test data to identify issues and implement fixes.

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 304,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
