We need a Sr. System SW Engineer to develop and test the NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge. This opportunity is outstanding because you will work on an innovative AI sensor processing platform that connects the physical and digital worlds. The Holoscan Sensor Bridge is vital for real-time sensor I/O, transferring data to and from NVIDIA GPUs quickly, reliably, and with low latency via Ethernet. This enables a wide range of applications including medical devices, humanoids, radioastronomy and more.

What you'll be doing:
- Work closely with SW architects, system architects, networking, and FPGA engineers to bring to bear NVIDIA's accelerated networking technologies, allowing for remote direct memory access between sensors and NVIDIA GPUs.
- Collaborate and coordinate with multi-functional teams of engineers within NVIDIA and its partners to expand the Holoscan Sensor Bridge ecosystem.
- Follow engineering processes, including writing and refining requirements, engineering design of software architecture, data structures and algorithms, implementation, technical review, documentation, developer testing, verification and validation, and post-launch support.
What we need to see:
- Great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related degree with a proven record of delivering products.
- 8+ years of proven experience.
- Excellent software development skills: C/C++ and Python.
- Deep understanding of hardware-software integration and extended experience with ARM and x86 platforms.
- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with real-time systems.
- Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA programming.
- Knowledge and experience of networking protocols and systems.
- Background with safety-critical hardware-software integration problems.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
