We are seeking a senior level, self-driven professional with proven expertise to develop leading-edge test solutions for silicon photonics (SiPh) integrated circuit designs in the growing data center and high-performance computing markets. The successful candidate shall be recognized by their peers as a technical leader in the area and demonstrate the ability to develop novel test solutions and provide strategic technology leadership. You will have the opportunity to work on developing high-speed active and passive photonics components, and contribute to the development of the next-generation photonics program. In addition, you will be the lead technical engineer to help to identifying timely solutions to achieving program goals.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop Silicon Photonic test stations and automation.
- Lead the optical test hardware engineering.
- Collaborate with photonic device designers and product development leads.
- Work with other test engineering and design validation teams to perform full test and device characterization of silicon photonic devices.
- Partner with module developers and design teams to do electro-optical testing of the modules.
- Work on laser package testing.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely development and delivery of wafers, equipment and other hardware.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams on functionality, interfaces, and documentation.
What We Need To See:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline with 5+ overall years of working experience in a related field. Or master in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar discipline with 8+ overall years of working experience in a related field on optical systems or opto-electronics devices.
- In-depth knowledge of photonic device physics, semiconductor laser, and device physics.
- Extensive experience optical system testing, wafer probers and module testing.
- Strong experience with data analysis and device characterization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
