In this role, you will collaborate with other key hardware design teams help enable NVIDIA's next generation GPU-based server products. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability, optimizing system performance, and improving the integration process. Help engage customers on early concept ideas and help them with integration of design and validation all the way to deployment as part of the overall engineering organization. What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, software, and validation teams to integrate NVIDIA's GPU-based solutions into our customers' data center products
  • Define system-level requirements and specifications for server products for x86 and ARM based solutions
  • Analyze and optimize system performance, power consumption and thermal integration
  • Work closely with AE (Application Engineering) team to maintain design documentation, test plans and other enablement collateral
  • Help solve deeper server system technical design level issues at every level
  • Work with other highly experienced domain expert teams at NVIDIA to ensure customer solutions are outstandingly optimized for highest performance servers in the world
  • Collaborate with major cloud service providers, other key OEM customers, and internal teams to help develop future GPU-accelerated data center architectures and roadmaps


What we need to see:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of proven experience in system-level design and integration of server products from concept to deployment.
  • Solid understanding of x86 server architecture, PCIe, DDR, Infiniband and high-speed interconnects
  • Basic understanding of BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) architecture, I2C (SMBus), power management and critical system telemetry controls
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and command line experience
  • Knowledge of the latest PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 technical interface challenges
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Technical interactions with customers

The base salary range is 156,000 USD - 299,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
