Senior Memory System Resiliency Architect

NVIDIA is seeking hardworking and creative Memory System Resiliency Architect to join our Memory Subsystem team. In this position, you will partner with design, product, and quality teams to ensure the memory system is resilient to errors. This position offers the opportunity to have a real impact on multiple product lines including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, HPC, cloud computing, and AI!

What you'll be doing:

  • As a member of the Memory system team, you will collaborate with DRAM vendors, Product engineering, System resiliency, DFT and Quality teams to define methodologies for DRAM test, Screening, Fault modelling, Failure Prediction, and Mitigation techniques.
  • You will also incorporate learnings from Nvidia Manufacturing and Field data to drive resiliency architecture and methodology improvements for future generations of NVIDIA products, and future DRAM generations.

What we need to see:

  • BS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree required, advanced degrees (MS, PhD) a plus
  • 7+ years of meaningful industry experience and a background in high-speed DRAM resilience, stress testing and screening
  • Knowledge of HBM, GDDR, LPDDR, or DDR or related protocols. Experience of working with memory standards and DRAM vendors is a plus
  • Knowledge of DRAM defects [time0, early-life], failure modes, test and burn-in flows in Vendor manufacturing and system level testing
  • Fault modeling and DPPM estimation for permanent and transient faults in Memory and High speed I/O
  • Programming skills in C/Perl/Python is a plus
  • Data analytics skills are a plus
  • Experienced communication and interpersonal skills are required. A history of mentoring junior engineers and interns a huge plus.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
