What you will be doing:
- Lead the PCB and PCBA Technology Development Team in support of all new related technologies necessary for current and next-generation products.
- Develop and implement technical plans and programs to support the required technologies at the PCB and PCBA product levels, both in the short and long term.
- Plan and complete advanced Research and Development programs for Data Center, Network, Gaming, and Auto Products at the PCBA/SMT and Component levels to achieve high yields and Reliability targets.
- Plan and complete the Research and Development of new PCB Technologies, Interconnect Structures, and Materials required for new Products, and establish and verify high levels of Reliability.
- Work closely and establish good working relationships with the US and Israeli Hardware and Signal Integrity Engineering Teams and support their PCB, PCBA, and SMT technology needs prior to the need.
- Work with PCB fabricators and PCB material suppliers on new technology development programs and establish and qualify these new technologies including their readiness for mass production.
- Technically support OPS PCB Sourcing, OPS SMT Engineering, NPI Engineering, and Quality Engineering Teams.

What we need to see:
- B.S. in Materials Sciences, Chemistry, or related Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ overall years of related experience, 8+ years of experience leading a team
- Extensive expertise in all PCB Technologies with a strong background in the Research and Development of laminate materials, PCB interconnect structures and fabrication processes.
- Strong background in all PCBA Technologies and Manufacturing with a strong background in the Research and Development and use of solder pastes, adhesives, underfill materials, thermal conductive materials, etc.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in metallurgy and the chemistries used in PCBA/SMT manufacturing, components, and other materials.
- Automotive, Aerospace, and/or Military PCBA/SMT and related Material Technologies experience a plus.
- Proven track record of effectively working and connecting with various Hardware/Signal Integrity and Reliability Engineering Teams both domestic and offshore, and the ability to establish very close and respected relationships with these Teams.
- Seasoned management experience with strong leadership and oral/written communications skills.
- High motivation and creative thinking skills.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 379,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
