We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong initiative, good written and verbal communication skills, and comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP to join our Financial Reporting team in Santa Clara, CA. In the role of Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from routine to complex analysis and play a critical part in the company's quarter-end close process resulting in complete and accurate reporting of financials. In addition, you will be involved in build out of Sustainability reporting and internal control processes. This position is great for an accounting professional who is detail oriented and can effectively collaborate vertically and cross functionally within the organization and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare SEC financial filings, including the annual report on Form 10-K and the quarterly report on Form 10-Q, and coordinate SOX compliant supporting documents for disclosures included in the financial statements and SEC filings (e.g., footnotes, MD&A).
  • Prepare periodic internal financial reports and presentation materials.
  • Enhance financial analytics for reporting, including stock-based compensation accounting by leveraging automation and data from multiple financial systems and tools such as SAP, Workiva, Equiview, Robotic Process Automation, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly equity related journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, and forecasts, including stock-based compensation.
  • Prepare dilutive shares analysis and forecasts for EPS calculations.
  • Be a liaison with the external auditors to ensure that support and explanations for all requests are provided, and help identify areas for improvement on internal processes and controls in conjunction with quarterly reviews, annual audits and SEC filings.
  • Assist and prepare technical accounting memos or research in the review and assessment of accounting and financial reporting implications of complex contracts and transactions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and enhance Sustainability reporting processes and controls supporting audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of Sustainability-related internal controls, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  • Stay up to date on Sustainability-related regulatory changes and ensure internal processes and controls are adapted to meet new compliance requirements.

What we need to see:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience including at least 3 years at a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • A desire to learn and have a great intellectual curiosity.
  • Self-starter who is willing to take initiative and achieve results independently.
  • An ability to balance working in the weeds as well as seeing the big picture.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in teams to identify and tackle problems enthusiastically and clearly identify key issues of importance for team resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with any financial systems and tools such as SAP, Workiva, Equity accounting systems, Tableau, Robotic Process Automation and Alteryx.
  • Passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Sustainability reporting, internal controls, and audit experience.

The base salary range is 120,000 USD - 195,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
