NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group is seeking a versatile engineer to be part of the HW ArchDev team. The SSG team is uniquely positioned to have an end-to-end view of the product development cycle - from early arch definition, through bringup, to product release. Our ArchDev arm is a hub for all silicon and system level feature development, tradeoff analysis, system integration solutions, and system POR alignment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Architect, design, and integrate system level boot flows, sequences, policies, and features to address functional, perf, power, and productization needs for NVIDIA's silicon designs.
  • Collaborate with system architecture, power architecture, ASIC, SW/FW, validation, and production teams throughout product life cycle; Lead system level boot architecture, design, productization, debug and deployment.
  • Define roadmaps by tracking industry/market trends, collecting current product feedback, prototyping innovations, and carrying out data driven tradeoff analysis.
  • Support silicon bring-up, validation and debug; Coordinate product level feature deployment; Lead efforts to address customer issues.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in ASIC design, reset/boot architecture, silicon validation/debug, or related areas.
  • Strong fundamentals on digital design, boot/reset architecture, low power features, clocking, timing, noise, micro-architecture, high-speed IO; Deep understanding of SW, FW and HW interaction; Helpful to have prior experience in silicon validation, bringup, and debug.
  • Hands-on lab experience (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) is a plus.
  • Basic programming and scripting skills such as C/C++, Python, Perl
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 304,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
