We are now looking for a Senior Accelerated Computing Architect!

NVIDIA is developing system architectures for accelerated high performance computing, scientific computing, machine learning, AI, datacenter, and automotive computing. We are seeking an experienced performance architect to join our Accelerate Computing performance analysis effort. This position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-moving, technology focused company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate across the company to guide the direction of Accelerated Computing HW/SW by working with architecture, software, and product teams.
  • Drive and deliver innovative technology across several domains such as Scientific Computing, Databases, Finance, Life Sciences, etc.
  • Co-design and accelerate benchmarks and applications by identifying and alleviating top compute, node, and network issues. Invent new techniques to mitigate these performance limiters.
  • Develop tools, infrastructure and methodologies for measurements, comparison, and reports.
  • Lead technical teams/initiatives to achieve targeted objectives.
  • Generate projections, comparison, and analysis reports for internal/external consumption.

What we need to see:

  • You have PhD (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Experience in hardware/HPC performance analysis and architecture.
  • Familiarity with GPU and CPU architecture /microarchitecture, including memory subsystems.
  • Experience with algorithm analysis and parallel programming models.
  • Demonstrated expertise combining architecture/micro-architecture knowledge and workload analysis for design space exploration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to navigate uncertainty.
  • Good organizational, time management and task prioritization skills displayed in your work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to work in a dynamic, product oriented, distributed team. A history of mentoring junior engineers and interns a huge plus.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
