We're seeking an emerging Product Management Intern for our NeMo Retriever team who will focus on advancing RAG systems through LLM-based agentic retrieval. This role sits at the intersection of ground breaking AI technology and enterprise solutions, helping craft the future of AI!
What you'll be doing:
- Define and Prove: Collect insights and build market analysis that provides the data to enter or change new markets through a clear value proposition for the product
- Market intelligence: Understand the developers, partners, and competitors
- Build and Deliver: Collaborate with engineering to promote the customer's needs by setting feature priorities across roadmaps
- Learn and present: Conduct detailed error analysis of existing retrieval pipelines to identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities
- Drive key customer engagements: manage early access program recruitment, facilitate POC testing and implementation, capture and analyze customer feedback, develop and refine product roadmap
What we need to see:
- Currently pursuing a MS, MBA or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field at a university.
- Passion for delivering software, libraries, and SDKs.
- Proven track record of teamwork across teams, customers, and partners.
- Outstanding interpersonal and public communication skills with a shown ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to make hard prioritization and tradeoff decisions based on data and business considerations.
- Experience in defining key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate product progress, readiness, and success.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Strong background in machine learning, particularly in LLMs and information retrieval systems.
- Experience with RAG systems and enterprise search solutions.
- Close interactions with enterprise customers, understanding problems and needs, and translating to technical product requirements.
- Experience in zero to one product definition and development.
The hourly rate for our interns is 18 USD - 71 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
