NVIDIA is looking for a hardware focused Product Development Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX, USA. As someone with expertise in memory, you will lead and guide the product engineering team in handling server and other system/GPU memories. This role offers a chance to work with sophisticated technology and contribute meaningfully to the industry!

What you'll be doing:

  • Define GPU and memory test methodology during New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • We develop GPU and Memory characterization tools based on the defined methodology
  • Build and maintain a characterization database
  • Build new tests based on MODs or other applications
  • Perform Characterization on datacenter products, including failure analysis

What we need to see:

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 10+ years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of memory protocols and interfaces, like GDDR5, GDDR6, HBM, LPDDR, LPCAMM (these are must have skills)
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++: for our memory characterization efforts
  • Knowledge of MySQL/PHP, HTML/JAVA for development of our memory characterization tools
  • Knowledge of high-speed signaling principles and concepts
  • Experience in the development of testing tools, such as system memory and CUDA-related apps
  • Background in database development
  • Experience in web design

The base salary range is 188,000 USD - 356,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
