NVIDIA Research is seeking world-class circuit researchers to contribute to the exploration of future high-performance, low-power circuit technologies and development of prototype circuits. We are also seeking ASIC and VLSI Research Interns. You will develop algorithms and design hardware and software extending the state of the art in computing, graphics, media processing, and other technology areas surrounding NVIDIA's business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with other team members, both in research and product roles
  • Opportunity may include publishing and presenting your original research
  • Transfer technology to product groups

What we need to see:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD Degree in relevant discipline(s) (CS, CE, EE, Physics, Math).
  • Research experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • High-Performance Circuit Design
  • PLLs and Clocking
  • SerDes and High-Speed Signaling
  • Photonics
  • SRAMs
  • Power Delivery/Regulation
  • Security Circuits
  • High-Speed Logic
  • ASIC and VLSI
  • ASIC and VLSI Design Techniques
  • Novel Digital VLSI Circuits
  • Networks - Large Scale System Design
  • Switch Microarchitecture
  • GPU-to-Network Interface
  • Excellent programming skills in at least one of the following: C, C++, Perl Python, MATLAB
  • A strong publication, patent, presentation, and research collaboration history is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The hourly rate for our interns is 30 USD - 90 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
