We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who is highly motivated individual and can function in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment to be part of our APAC Payroll Team.

  • Coordinate with global and international Payroll and HR teams for taxation and payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies
  • Collaborate with accounting team to seamlessly integrate payroll and accounting data, providing accurate financial records
  • Supervising end-to-end payroll processing to ensure flawless execution
  • Perform month-end closing and analysis for payroll related accounts
  • Cashflow forecast for payroll related accounts
  • Assist with statutory audit, internal audit, and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Take on ad-hoc assignments

What we need to see:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting firms, at least 8 years in industry accounting/payroll functions and minimum 5 years of experience in management role across the APAC region
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Excellent speaking and writing communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintain accurate payroll and accounting data
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, taxation and statutory compliance
  • Experience in handling payroll audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
