We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who is deeply technical, creative, and hands-on to work on a mass production autonomous driving product. The perception team consists of a group of proficient AI applied researchers and engineers and is committed to building industry-grade deep learning to redefine autonomous vehicle (AV) perception. We work on fundamental advances in scientific methods to enable scaling up the entire perception for the autonomous driving SW stack. Our work opens up new universes to explore, enables amazing creativity and discovery, and powers what were once science fiction inventions from artificial intelligence to autonomous vehicles.

What you will be doing:

  • Work on state-of-the-art perception & fusion architecture
  • Integrate machine learning models into mass production ADAS solution stack
  • Bring innovative perception & fusion & prediction research to the product
  • Partner with NVIDIA's applied research and research organization
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA's drive simulation & mapping organization
  • Establish positive relationships and communications with internal partner organizations.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in disciplines including but not limited to Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math and Physics.
  • Hands-on experience in Perception Systems with application to AV, robotics, or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of sensors and algorithms used in modern Perception Systems
  • Experience with calibration of various sensor technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in debugging hard software problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to strive in a cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields or equivalent experience.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Hands on experience with delivery of mass production ADAS system
  • Broad experiences in geometric computer vision
