What you'll be doing:

  • Develop applications and features for the Holoscan platform involving GPUs, high bandwidth network acceleration SDK's, Camera and sensors.
  • Architect, design, and develop and benchmark innovative, scalable, performant hardware-accelerated software and high bandwidth sensor streaming systems to run on top of NVIDIA's Holoscan platform and Nvidia's GPUs.
  • Perform/participate in code reviews and design reviews.
  • Engage with strategic customers and partners and internal NVIDIA teams to train, design, build, and productize solutions based on the Holoscan platform.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multi-functional teams of engineers within NVIDIA and its partners to expand the Holoscan ecosystem.
  • Follow engineering processes, including writing and refining requirements, engineering design of software architecture, data structures and algorithms, implementation, technical review, documentation, developer testing, verification and validation, and post-launch support.

What we need to see:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related degree with a proven record of delivering products.
  • 10+ overall years of proven hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Excellent software development skills: C/C++ and Python.
  • Deep understanding of hardware-software integration and extended experience with ARM and x86 platforms.
  • Knowledge of Linux Kernel, Linux Networking stack and RTOS concepts and considerations.
  • Hands on experience with HW interfaces such as I2C/SPI/USB.
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of embedded systems, Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) and GPU/CUDA concepts.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
  • Great teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Extensive hands on experience with NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA programming.
  • Knowledge and experience of high bandwidth networking protocols, SmartNICs/NIC drivers, Cameras and sensors.
  • Background with safety-critical hardware-software integration problems.

The base salary range is 256,000 USD - 391,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
