CSP Hardware Application Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced hardware networking engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the adoption of our latest Ethernet technology by the largest cloud providers in China, assist with new supercomputer technologies and data centers, and work on developing features tailored to our customers' needs. Your role will involve solving complex issues, leading high-visibility customer challenges, and providing valuable feedback to our engineering and marketing teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the integration of our latest Ethernet technology with major cloud providers in China.
  • Assist with the deployment of new supercomputer technologies and data centers.
  • Build and maintain customer trust by understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D teams to develop and refine features based on customer requirements.
  • Lead efforts to resolve complex and high-profile customer issues.
  • Provide constructive feedback to engineering and marketing teams regarding product requirements.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in server hardware development.
  • Strong networking experience, particularly with NICs and switches, and familiarity with Ethernet protocols.
  • Knowledge of server topology, PCIe protocol, BMC interfaces, and security aspects.
  • Experience with physical layer of network ports and PCIe ports, including serdes tuning
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in English communication and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with customers.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Proven ability to work independently and lead projects.
  • Familiarity with PCIe Gen 4.0 and Gen 5.0 protocols.
  • Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity theory and practices, and experience with lab equipment.
  • Experience in script or firmware development.
