We're looking for a Buyer for Heat Tracing Project Business (Raychem brand) to be based in our nVent Thermal Warsaw office, supporting sourcing of the projects buyout for our European Entities.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Supporting Supply Project Leader in negotiation of commercial conditions with suppliers, concludes contracts in full accordance with the requirements of the project activities and with the interests of the company
  • Support in Identification, evaluation and selection of potential suppliers
  • Collaboration with the suppliers and follow-up that the terms of the contract are respected
  • Actively supporting and following Project Leaders in carrying out specific activities
  • Accountability for the good development and timely fulfillment of the projects
  • Computer and electronics knowledge, usage for the software systems used in the company
  • Carrying out reports that support sourcing and procurement activities
  • Responsibility for the timely supporting updates of contractual data in the system ensuring its accurate functioning
  • Responsibility for issuing and launching timely orders to suppliers based on the commercial conditions and parameters required by the projects.
  • Guiding suppliers to ensure that they are working according to the nVent quality policy and standards
  • Working in an international environment and projects


YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Previous experience with procurement functions, quick learner
  • Fluent English and German
  • Advanced knowledge of computer operation (office package; ERP experience is a plus)
  • Skilled with MS Excel
  • Capability of discussing favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and used to work in teams
  • Flexibility/adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs, market conditions, and project requirements.
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Ethical Conduct: Adhere to ethical standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing contracts, specifications, and other procurement documents to avoid errors.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams and/or international teams

  • Communication - Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organization - Run multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and maintain meticulous records to ensure smooth procurement processes.
