WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Provide direction and facilitate EHS program objectives across campus.
  • Lead environmental processes to ensure company and regulatory requirements are met in relation to hazardous/special waste management, water discharge and air permitting obligations.
  • Supervise EHS federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts on system operations; provide operations and executive management information as appropriate.
  • Be a positive coach, observer, trainer and main point of contact for EHS vision and assistance.
  • Lead EHS documents, vendor contract and permit administration applying appropriate retention rules.
  • Lead incident reporting process and participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Be the site EHS authority and preferred point of contact for safety and environmental related inquiries.
  • Lead the activities of all EHS department team members and third party security contract.
  • Coordinate behavior based safety and ergonomic improvement activities.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Safety or Environmental.
  • 5+ years' proven track record leading safety and/or environmental systems.
  • Fully bilingual.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 - 45001 certifications desirable.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Exposure in a multi-country, multi-cultural working environment preferable.
