Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Supervise, build and maintain a high performance team through understanding team competencies, effective recruitment, performance management, employee development, and efficient communication that drives positive employee engagement.
  • Monitor and report out on KPIs to help drive maximum productivity.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within the AP department.
  • Provide superior service and support to both internal and external customers as the primary contact for business inquiries.
  • Approve vendors payments, including necessary positive pay actions and banking template setups & changes.
  • Approve AP related data for new vendor setups.
  • Ensure standard work documentation is up to date for the processing of invoices and payments.
  • Help train other departments requiring assistance in the Accounts Payable process.
  • Complete all 1099 processing for U.S. entities.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests, as needed.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of dynamic accounts payable experience preferred, including 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • JD Edwards, SAP, M3, Paymode-X and Esker (AP workflow) software experience a plus.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Windows based software (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Experience in a publicly traded company highly preferred.
  • Understanding of electronic invoice interface processes.
  • Understanding of 1099 reporting requirements.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functional and organizational teams.
  • Ability to self-start, prioritize and organize competing requests.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
