As Analytics Engineers at Nubank, we are the bridge between the business needs and the data platform. We make data available to the entire company, always thinking about the best modeling, governance and performance. In addition, we share best practices and create new tools so that everyone who consumes the data can work in a more organized, efficient and secure way.

How is the selection process for Analytics Engineers at Nubank

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and maintenance of our production data pipelines (ETL) and tools;


• Participate in the end-to-end process, from requirements mapping to data modeling (eg. Star Schema, Snowflake, etc.);


• Support data-driven discussions within your team and across business areas;


• Identify opportunities to optimize and structure data;


• Act in data literacy in the company, sharing best practices and improving documentations.

Skills & Experience

• You are passionate about data;


• Feel comfortable with SQL and can write queries of different levels of complexity;


• You are comfortable using general purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, Scala, etc.);


• Knowledge of different Database architecture and modeling techniques for analytical purposes (e.g. Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, etc.);


• Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g. KPIs, OKRs, etc.);


• Advanced English (B2+ accordingly to CEFR)

Our Nu Way of Working
