Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect with a specialization in AppEngine development. This pivotal role is designed for an expert who will drive the architecture, development, and deployment of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly AppEngine, and demonstrate a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions that align with our strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Solution Architecture & Design:
o Lead the design and architecture of scalable, robust, and innovative custom applications using ServiceNow AppEngine.
o Develop technical architecture documents, high-level and detailed design specifications to guide development teams.
• Application Development & Implementation:
o Oversee the full lifecycle of application development on the ServiceNow platform, from concept to deployment.
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using ServiceNow AppEngine.
o Ensure that applications are developed in accordance with best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
• Integration & Customization:
o Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and custom scripts.
o Customize and enhance existing ServiceNow applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Leadership & Mentoring:
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
o Enable a citizen Developer community with corresponding best practices and predefined standard governance mechanisms
o Be the single point of contact for technical questions and guide through the Development journey
o Lead architectural review sessions, code reviews, and performance tuning efforts.
• Strategic Planning & Execution:
o Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals and strategies.
o Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using ServiceNow capabilities.
o Drive the adoption of new ServiceNow features and capabilities, staying current with platform advancements.
• Global Governance & Methodology:
o Work within the global ServiceNow platform governance framework, ensuring compliance with globally defined methodologies and processes.
o Adapt and implement global standards, guidelines, and best practices to meet local requirements while maintaining alignment with overall governance.
o Participate in global governance meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the ServiceNow governance model.
• Quality Assurance & Support:
o Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices for ServiceNow application development.
o Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex ServiceNow issues in alignment with the global AMS.
o Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of ServiceNow applications in alignment with the global AMS.

Qualifications & Experience
• Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Experience:
o At least 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development and architecture.
o Proven track record in designing and deploying custom applications using ServiceNow AppEngine.
o Extensive experience with AppEngine, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM modules of ServiceNow.
o Experience working within and adhering to a global IT governance framework.
• Technical Skills:
o Deep expertise in ServiceNow AppEngine, Flow Designer, UI Builder, and IntegrationHub.
o Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS).
o Strong understanding of API integration techniques and data management principles.
o Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Certifications:
o ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
o ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
o ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for at least one ServiceNow module.
o Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

• Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this role is (HOURLY RATE 90 TO 100 MAX). Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
