A Senior Platform Engineer is first and foremost a software developer who specializes in the domain of the processes and resources necessary to enable the development, build, test, deploy, and release of changes to enterprise applications delivered to market while ensuring this occurs as frequently as needed, with the least amount of error possible, and the maximum uptime.

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. For this project the Senior Platform Engineer will:
- Have extensive knowledge of Azure DevOps as well as general DevOps toolsets.
- Prior experience developing and implementing automation and facilitating project migrations.
- Bring solid working knowledge of GitOps concepts, CI/CD pipeline design and tools including Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jfrog, and SonarQube Implement automation strategy for onboarding new developers to Azure DevOps Support other automation efforts for ADO, JFrog, Sonar, and interfaces to internal tools
- Run data migration scripts and monitor performance and outcomes
- Work with the app teams to assist with UAT processes
- Engage in post migration support and troubleshooting for app team
- Assist in resolving app team issues related to DevOps toolsets and deployment capabilitie
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience Azure cloud platforms. Knowledge and experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS, or GCP would be a plus
- 2+ years of experience deploying and managing tools such as GitOps, CI/CD pipeline Design and tools including Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jfrog and SonarQube
- 1+ years coding in either Python, Typescript, or Golang
- 1+ years scripting experience in bash or powershell
- 4+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
- 4+ years of systems administration experience with at least one operating system (Linux or Windows)
Desired Experience & Skills:
- 1+ years of serverless or container-based architecture experience
- 1+ years of Infrastructure as code (IAC) experience
- Can autonomously contribute to cloud and application orchestration code and actively involved in peer reviews
- Advance networking (tcpdump, network flow security analysis, can collect and understand metric between microservices)
- Some sense of advance authentication technologies (federated auth, SSO)
