Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) module. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and SAP functionality, with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting RAR solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business and finance teams to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in line with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation & Configuration: Lead and support the end-to-end implementation of SAP RAR, including system configuration, testing, and documentation.
  • Revenue Recognition: Configure and manage revenue recognition logic in line with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards, ensuring compliance with industry-specific revenue policies.
  • Integration: Work closely with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO, SD, and MM) to ensure seamless integration and data flow for accurate revenue reporting.
  • Business Analysis: Gather business requirements related to revenue accounting, perform gap analysis, and map them to SAP RAR functionality.
  • Customization: Design and configure custom solutions within SAP RAR to address specific business needs, ensuring the solution meets regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
  • Testing & Validation: Participate in system testing (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) to ensure the SAP RAR solution meets functional requirements and operates as expected.
  • Training & Documentation: Provide training and support to end-users, creating documentation, user guides, and process flows for SAP RAR processes.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Offer ongoing support for the SAP RAR module, resolve issues, and perform regular system maintenance and updates.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop reports and dashboards to monitor revenue recognition and ensure transparency in financial data.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with changes to accounting standards (IFRS 15, ASC 606) and ensure the SAP RAR system is updated to maintain compliance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with business users (finance, accounting, legal, sales) and IT teams to gather requirements, provide insights, and solve problems.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience with SAP RAR module implementation, configuration, and support, ideally in a financial or accounting role.
  • SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP RAR, along with understanding of SAP FI/CO, SD, and other relevant SAP modules.
  • Revenue Recognition: Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles (IFRS 15, ASC 606), billing, and accounting practices.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, troubleshooting, and custom development (e.g., ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP BW).
  • Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, particularly in revenue recognition, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing or supporting SAP implementation projects, including planning, testing, and go-live.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
