We are currently seeking an SAP Finance & Procurement Consultant to join our team Remote to start in the United States (US). In the future, this role will ideally move to Hybrid, based in Byhalia, Mississippi.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for implementing part or all the solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed Functional design.
  • Work on roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality specifically within the SAP MM and FICO.
  • Understanding the integration with various SAP modules like MM, QM, CO, PP, PM, WM, SD, and FI.
  • Responsible for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
  • Knowledge and experience of intercompany processes in SAP.
  • Design and implement core functionalities of SAP MM and FICO including screen controls.
  • Facilitates the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Materials Management to enhance the clients' business functionality and performance.
  • Configure the SAP system in the areas of MM and FICO to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions.
  • Participates in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understand business objectives, and seeks alignment.
  • Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design.
  • Analyzes and develops functional specifications and communicates to technical developers to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way.
  • Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.
  • Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP MM & FICO of SAP is a must.
  • Strong experience working on S/4HANA Implementation projects.
  • Strong functional knowledge on the SAP ERP MM, FICO, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required.
  • Working experience on scheduling agreements in SAP MM- Purchasing component and FICO.
  • Knowledge of principle MM processes (MRP, purchase and transition orders processing, stock-taking, inventory management).
  • Knowledge of LE processes (outbound deliveries processing, upload/download IDOC material flows from external systems, transportation planning, freight costs calculation).
  • Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
  • Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing, and presenting appropriate status reports.
  • Understanding the integration with various SAP modules like MM, QM, CO, PP, PM, WM, SD, and FI.
  • Will be required to prepare instruction manuals and training material for end user training.

Preferred:
  • Should have experience and should be able to give solutions for business requirements and guide the team on data migration.
  • Should have experience preparing data migration templates.
  • Should have experience in data extracting, cleansing, and uploading the data.
  • Should be able to write functional specs and work with technical team on enhancements, user exits.
  • Should have good experience in working with global teams.
  • Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this Remote to start role is $60.00 - $71.00/hour USD. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
