We are currently seeking a RPG Developer with Health Plan - Remote to join our team in Frisco, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Role Responsibilities:
- To design, develop and maintain software that is built on the IBMi platform using RPG and SQL languages and procedures. This will include assessing business requirements and translating into effective designs;
- Producing high quality, standard-compliant code;
- Collaborating with developers to ensure that changes are coordinated and knowledge is shared to permit more effective platform support;
- Complying with the use of development standards using for example JIRA for the change management process together with release management procedures;
- The management of deadlines through collaboration with technical and business teams;
- Escalating to management platform events that need further focus or resolution.

Experience Required
RPG Developer with Health Plan and 837 expertise
- a minimum of 5 years in the writing of ILE RPG and RPG Sequel programs and services with at least 2 years conducting development in Financial applications;
- experience in the writing of applications that use the DB2 400 relational database;
- a genuine passion for technology and problem solving;
- good communication skills and the ability to deliver in accordance with deadlines;
- Experience in the use of the Synon code generator tool and Java would be desirable but not essential.
