We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Tester - Level 3 to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Why the Role Is Important:

Testers are the core of everything we create, and your work is instrumental in our success. We strive to be the first firm clients think of when it comes to fulfilling their technology needs, and our best evidence is the successful project delivery supported by our testers.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
  1. test planning and coordination;
  2. supervision of testing in accordance with the plan;
  3. management and monitoring of test plans for all levels of testing;
  4. management of walkthroughs and reviews related to testing and implementation readiness;
  5. status reporting;
  6. development of test scenarios and test scripts;
  7. establish and maintain source and object code libraries for a multi-platform, multi-operating system environment;
  8. establish software testing procedures for unit test, Integration testing and regression testing with emphasis on automating the testing procedures leveraging tools like Playwright or Selenium;
  9. establish and operate "interoperability" testing procedures to ensure that the interaction and co-existence of various software elements, which are proposed to be distributed on the common infrastructure, conform to appropriate departmental standards (e.g., for performance, compatibility, etc.) and have no unforeseen detrimental effects on the shared infrastructure; and
  10. establish a validation and verification capability which assumes functional and performance compliance.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience within the last fifteen (15) years as a Tester
  • 5 projects within the last seven (7) years each with a duration of six (6) consecutive months using/implementing automated testing with tools such as Playwright or Selenium
  • University degree or college/CEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided.
