We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team Onsite/Hybrid based in the National Capital Region of Canada.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an Intermediate Project Manager to support Digital Business Products and Services projects. This role ensures digital initiatives are delivered according to commitments made, leverages project management principles for tracking tasks, identifies risks, and enables digital leaders to drive successful outcomes. The Intermediate Project Manager will offer support, oversight, monitoring and tracking for project-related tasks, enabling senior leaders to achieve business objectives through effective project management practices. The ideal PM brings a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience managing or supporting complex projects, particularly digital business initiatives.

Job Description
- Manage an element of the project and its associated project team.
- Manage the element of the project during the development, implementation and operations startup by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance.
- Formulate statements of problems, establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtains approval thereof.
- Define and document the objectives for the project.
- Determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team.
- Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the lifecycle.
- Meets in confidence stakeholders and other project managers and states problems in a form capable of being solved.
- Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.
- Work with a variety of project management tools and with project sign-off.
- Supporting senior leaders in achieving strategic objectives through effective project oversight and coordination.
- Perform duties of a scrum master (when applicable to agile delivery projects).
- Scrum duties can include facilitating the daily standup, helping the team maintain their burndown chart, setting up retrospectives, sprint reviews or sprint planning sessions, shielding the team from interruptions during the sprint and removing obstacles that affect the team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing & supporting complex projects, particularly Digital Business Initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Project Manager.
- Must have proficiency in Project Management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Government or Public Sector projects considered an asset.
- Have professional certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, considered an asset.
- Bilingual in French & English considered an asset.
