NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Healthcare Underwriting Assistant/Support to join our team in remotely. Hours 8am-5pm local time. Training may be 8am-5pm EST.
Supports medical underwriting analysis and risk assessment for new small group contracts and accountings. Assigned cases/book of business include single product types, funding arrangements and/or rating methodologies and progresses to multiple types, arrangements and methodologies with experience and skill development.
Role Responsibilities
-Independently reviews work for accuracy, identifies risks and makes recommendations to manage risk while growing or retaining membership.
-Utilizes advanced functionality of underwriting tools, systems, and reference materials to produce accurate quotes and/or renewals.

-Reviews recommendations for rate actions with manager.
-Produces timely and accurate customer specific documents, deliverables and account related information.

Required Skills/Experience
- 2+ years working in a production-oriented environment meeting or exceeding production targets.
- 2+ years demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet/exceed expectations.
- 2+ years demonstrated success prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills:Experience with medical/clinical terminology and/or healthcare cost is a plus.
Education
Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $18-$18.80. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
