Job responsibilities include:

• Develop and deploy Oracle SQL, PL/SQL packages, functions, stored procedures, triggers, objects, tables, indexes, views, synonyms based on business requirements.
• Support Unit test, Functional/Regression Test, System test, Integration test, and Performance/Load test of the Oracle PL/SQL code before deployment into Production.
• Design tables with partitioning and sub-partitioning with indexes for efficient performance for online real-time search operations
• Participate in forecasting and capacity analysis of future database growth needs
• Communicate status and escalate issues or delays that would affect deadline as early in the process as possible.
• Work within a team to document user/business requirements, translate into technical designs, and explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and nontechnical users.
• Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking, and migrating complex data sets in Oracle.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 plus years of experience with PL/SQL development experience on Oracle 12c/18c/19c databases
• Responsible for resolving Java software compatibility and interface design solutions.
• Preferred skills:
• Extensive expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming and developing of complex code units.
• Advance knowledge with optimizing code and SQLs, by following various performance-tuning techniques
• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, partitioning, sub-partitioning and good database administration skills, ability to analyze and fine-tune complex long-running queries, excellent performance tuning skills
• Must be a good team player, and have experience working with a large team in both onshore and offshore and with multiple tech-stacks

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is (HOURLY RATE 65 TO 70). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
