We are currently seeking a Network Engineering (VMware NSX & Private Cloud) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Overview of Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed personnel to work in the role of Network Support Specialist Advisor with primary experience in Network and VMware NSX.

Full-Time (US Central Daytime Hours)

Description:

• Manages the development of innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems of clients.
• Providing highest level support on the complex systems, investigating, analyzing, and resolving difficult problems on network components and multipurpose platform systems.
• Manages the development of new internal programs or modifications of current systems.
• Acts as the subject matter expert on multiple networks and related systems.
• Perform design and implementation of NSX logical networking constructs like logical switches, routers, and distributed logical routers (DLRs).
• Review current network and NSX configuration and perform VMware NSX-V to T migration in a VMware Private cloud solution running VMware vCloud Director.
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls.
• Manage Dell and Cisco networked systems, including configurations, supporting / troubleshooting network problems and coordination with vendor for installation of such items as switches.
• Co-ordinate and manage optimum LAN/WAN/ network performance by evaluating network issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
• Serve as the escalation point Contact for the Network design, architecture, and operational activities.
• Provides in-depth diagnosis for network systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the Company's business needs and strategic objectives.

• Expert knowledge on Network Administration and Management, including:
  • routing and switching solutions (Dell, Cisco) utilizing BGP, OSPF.
  • Management and architecture of Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience working in a VMware Private Cloud solution with VMware NSX is recommended.
• Proficiency in managing VMware NSX for network virtualization and micro-segmentation including deployment of components such as NSX Manager, NSX Controller, NSX Edge, and NSX Distributed Firewall.
• Experience performing NSX-V to NSX-T migration using in-place and in-parallel approaches is desirable.

• Graduate degree (bachelor's in science or equivalent) preferred.
• Industry certification on Dell and/or Cisco switches.
• Desirable to have VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization 2024

• Typically requires 10- 12 years relevant experience.
