We are currently seeking a Murex - Technical SME to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Experience: 3-8 years
• Proven strong experience in Murex application support, specifically in Murex FO (Trade lifecycle, etradepad, Product control. Pricing, Simulation, PnL Analysis, PLVAR) MLC, Market Risk (market risk limits, P&L vectors, and stress scenarios), Hedge Curves, SIMM
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex issues within Murex and related environments.

• Strong experience supporting a diverse range of financial products, including IR and CR Derivatives, TRS, Equities, Fixed Income, FX products.
• Strong understanding of incident management processes, familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., GLPI, ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA) and the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
• Strong experience with production, test, and development environments, including batch processing and job monitoring.
Technical Skills:
• Advanced Murex troubleshooting skills
• Trading Systems & Data Integration: Strong experience with event-driven systems (MxML Exchange) for trading, events, and settlements, and integrating standard interfaces and connectors such as Bloomberg, FIX connectivity, MarkitWire. Skilled in real-time market data management using tools like RTBS, MDCS, and Market Data Interface Tools.
• Post-Trade Operations: Expertise in post-trade workflows, document management, settlements, collateral management, ensuring efficient trade processing and operational support.
• APIs and Reporting: Proficient in using Limit Authorization Service (LAS) API, Flex API for EQD, IRD, and CRD products, and Curve API for yield curve management. Experience in Datamart reporting for data analysis and regulatory reporting.
• Unix/Linux Systems: Solid proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, including system navigation, file management, shell scripting, and troubleshooting. Skilled in process management, system monitoring, and log analysis for effective system administration.
• SQL & Database Management: Advanced SQL skills for querying, manipulating data, and performing complex data analysis across relational databases. Strong understanding of database structures, including tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., GLPI, ServiceNow, JIRA) for managing incidents, requests, and tracking progress.
• Familiarity with batch processing and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability during overnight batch cycles.
Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with traders, ensuring seamless communication across teams, all while working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders, providing clear instructions and updates.
• Maintain composure and focus while working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments to ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact the project.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly.
