We are currently seeking a Microsoft SharePoint Consultant and Architect to join our team in Montgomery Alabama. This can be a remote position with limited travel to the client's site.

The SharePoint Architect will work closely with the State staff and acting as the trusted partner supporting a multi-site SharePoint environment for a large Modernization program for the State of Alabama Medicaid Agency. This individual will maintain and create SharePoint sites for specific projects and internal organizations. They will provide guidance and recommendations on the use of SharePoint to help with simplifying and improving processes throughout the program. As a member of the Program PMO they will work with State program managers and leadership as well as the NTT project and PMO management team.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Provides end user support with active follow up for inquires and trouble tickets.
  • The SharePoint Administrator will meet regularly with the client and PMO team to review issues and improvement opportunities for the SharePoint sites supported and created for the program. They will take a proactive role and guide overall direction and improvement of the SharePoint experience.
  • Defines and documents standards and processes for creating and maintaining the SharePoint sites in the system.
  • Manages and maintains access to SharePoint sites and folders. Granting approved access in a timely manner.
  • Provides training on the use of the SharePoint sites including use of metadata, the structure, automated features and navigation of the sites.
  • Creates and maintains user documentation of the SharePoint environment.
  • Provides technical support for data loads, and any interfaces needed to email or other applications.
  • Works with PMO team to review and analyze SharePoint based processes for opportunities for improvement.
  • Architect solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint best Practices
  • Provides tool support for data governance of the SharePoint environment including supporting audits for compliance with SharePoint standards.
  • Participate in overall Program tool strategy development
  • Provide input to weekly and monthly report of activities, risks, issues, observations, findings, recommendations
  • Support monthly project summary for reporting to CMS


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years developing and maintaining Projects in Microsoft Project, including:
    • Experience managing resource loaded Schedule
  • 3+ years setting up. implementing and maintain a Microsoft Project server environment and supporting an IMS using MSPS for a large multi-project program
  • 5+ years using other office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint)
  • 3 + Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Project Certification


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with State programs, especially Medicaid
  • PMP certification
  • PMI_SP Certification
  • Experience with clients in developing their program processes relative to project scheduling


Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $89,032 - $155,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
