NTT DATA's Clients Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Sr IT Project Manager who has strong experience in IT Infrastructure server/storage and network implementation experience to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Princeton, NJ.

In this role, the Sr IT Project Manager will be responsible to support the delivery of server and storage implementations by aligning to business requirements with internal and functional business groups to deliver initiatives, efficiency, and effectiveness in support of infrastructure, employee experience and cybersecurity. A successful candidate would leverage effective project management practices, working collaboratively with various divisions and cross functional teams while delivering cost-effective implementation exceeding stakeholder expectations.
This position is a stakeholder facing role which requires the candidate to establish and manage expectations within the business and drive the team to achieve those expectations to a high standard.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Define infrastructure project scope, assess impact, determine implementation approach determine schedule, budget, resource needs working with various stakeholders.

  • Successfully lead complex projects to ensure business goals and objectives are Delivered.
  • Deliver the assigned projects to successful conclusion (on time, on budget, and
  • scope delivered).
  • Follow defined project management framework and processes to execute projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with all deliverables and stage gate reviews.
  • Assist or lead the development of business requirements, solution design &
  • delivery, testing and training.
  • Lead the detailed planning and management of projects through to completion.
  • Escalate, explain, and offer proactive solutions when risks/issues to projects are
  • causing failure or inability to complete on time or budget.
  • Continuously improve processes, tasks, and milestones using feedback and
  • lessons learned as input into existing or future project plans.
  • Maintain the appropriate metrics related to project activities and submit in
  • accordance with required procedures.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, and
  • influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge and expertise in project management disciplines,
  • as well as multiple business processes and/or technical areas.
  • Present regularly to leadership on success of projects and program initiatives.
  • Work with team members to spread project management standards and disciplines.
  • Bridge gap between Network Service Delivery and Engineering teams for service delivery and steady state transition.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as IT project manager with minimum 3 years' experience in Server/Storage Network projects
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, Information Technology or 10 years' experience in Information Technology projects.
  • Certified in PMP methodologies preferred
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Infrastructure Network configuration - Server and Storage implementations
  • Strong familiarity with project management standards and methodologies including PMI Body of Knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand the final result and to translate that result into actionable steps
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent documentation skills are a must
  • Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience
  • Advanced knowledge in creating and maintaining management level and detailed project plans utilizing Microsoft products
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $60.11-$70/hour. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
