We are currently seeking a Front End Developers - Angular to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Application background:

• The client is one of the major Telco and Media providers having a customer facing ecommerce platform that caters to selling products to new customers, as well as cross-selling, up-selling and care for existing customers.

• The application is built on Angular 17, using APIGEE to communicate wiith microservices built with NodeJS, hosted on Google Cloud, Assets stored in CMS and retrieved using GraphQL, monitored using Dynatrace. Jenkins pipeline takes care of automated deployments, and Cypress scripts for automated testing. Unit testing is managed in Jest. We use PostgreSQL and Mongo DB for data.

• There are multiple small teams/squads comprising of a Product Owner, a Scrum Master, Front End Angular developers, Back End NodeJS developers, DevOps engineers and Cypress Automation testers. Each squad takes full ownership of a product, and caters to it from end to end - including any new development, enhancements and production support.

Requirement Details (Front End Angular Dev):

• We are looking for a senior Angular developer with the following skills:
  • 6+ years experience in Angular as a whole, with considerable experience with Angular 17 (or at least Angular 15 and above)
  • Experience developing and supporting at least 1 customer facing ecommerce platform.
  • Experience on a cloud (Preferably Google Cloud; or AWS/Azure)
  • Experience in working with a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience working with APIs and RESTful Webservices.
  • Hands on experience with Javascript, Typescript, NGRX, RXJS.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with a project management tool preferably JIRA.
• Responsibilities include:
  • Develop new features, Support the rest of the wider Team with technical oversight and unblock any impediments.
  • Ensure development methodologies are aligned to VM toolset, architecture and guidelines.
  • Join relevant grooming, project planning, and impact assessment meetings to support on technical clarifications.
  • Develop and enhance new features, components based on the backlog, including unit testing.
  • Work in collaboration with integration teams to deliver stories for end-to-end completion.
  • Understanding of industry best practices for full development life cycle: coding, testing, build, deployment
  • Ensure the client subscribed development guidelines are met and Angular pattern libraries are re-used wherever possible.
  • Take ownership of the product manages by the squad and be available for any on-call support.
  • Understanding of modern engineering languages and computer science fundamentals, platforms (containers, serverless, no-code), frameworks and creating simple and robust platforms.
