We are currently seeking a Devops SRE to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Job Title: DevOps/SRE / PROD Support
Location: Pune/Bengaluru - Partner Site if needed
To strengthen our development team, we are looking for mix of DevOps, Site Reliability EngineeringandPROD Supportwho can design, develop and implement innovative solutions to achieve our goal.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the stability and supportability of the application. You'll act as a bridge between our engineering and support teams ensuring timely resolution of the issues and proactive actions to improve system stability.

Your key responsibilities
As DevOps/SRE/Prod Support, you are responsible for -
- Owns the monitoring and alerting structure for transaction scanning system and works collaboratively with Feature Engineers in setting it up
- Contribute to automate production processes and minimise manual intervention
- Escalation of incidents / requests that cannot be resolved in this function to SRE lead and Feature Engineers, while keeping the responsibility to interact with requesting user(s)
- End to end Environment support for all technical issues and reduce MTTR (mean time to resolution) in production
- Acts as the PoC for requests/incidents from technical peer teams and operation teams
- Champions delivery of SRE technical debt topics with Product owner and feature engineers along the agile delivery structure
- Works intimately with Feature Engineering team early in the SLDC life-cycle on delivering all Operational requirements (OR)
- Provides best practices solution and standard tool knowledge to achieve OR compliance
- Supports in the usage of the CI/CD tool-chain for his Squad and own responsibility of UAT and Production deployment
- Participating the 24/7 ROTA schedule
Your skills and experience
Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer-Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent. Total 8+ years of experience in IT industry with exposure to full SDLC cycle.
Technical Skills
- Experience in tools - ITRS Geneos , Splunk , AppDynamic, New Relic, Dynatrace or other monitoring tool
- Experience in Ansible or any other automation tool
- Experience of working in ticketing tool: ServiceNow / Jira
- Experience of working on Unix, relational database, scripting language, MQ
- Basic knowledge of any Object Oriented language (Java or Python)
- Basic knowledge of CICD tool chain knowledge (Bitbucket, Team City, Jenkins , Artifactory, Udeploy)
- Bitbucket/GIT (Version control & Repository management)
- Release & Build management, Branding Strategy
- Understanding of ITIL and DevOps structure and processes
- Kubernetes/Openshift
Nice to Have
- Experience working with GCP/Azure/AWS cloud
- Experience of working in Financial institution / payment domain
