We are currently seeking a TEMP Info Technology Senior Specialist to join our team in Yonkers, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities -
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for materials, services, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and implement preventative maintenance plans for all IT facilities equipment and infrastructure, documenting procedures and outcomes.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports relevant to operations, maintenance, and compliance within the industry.
- Shift Management: Oversee rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring adequate coverage and response capability.
- Physical Demands: Perform physical tasks associated with the role, including lifting (50 lbs or more), climbing ladders, and maintaining agility in varied positions.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a IT infrastructure environment with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or RCDD, with substantial experience in cable and fiber installation and troubleshooting.
- Project Management: Experience with request and change management processes, as well as scheduling for preventative maintenance.
- Safety Awareness: Ability to wear and work with various forms of personal protective equipment as required by job duties.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for extended periods, climbing, and performing manual tasks as necessary.
- Driving Record: Valid and insurable driving record.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting floor plans, blueprints and schematics.
- Experience using voltage testing equipment, UPSs and HVAC systems.
- Understanding of fiber optic test data
- Familiar with OSP/ISP engineering cable design and connectivity
- Educational Requirements
- Associate's degree in technology or with a minimum of five years of related experience in IT Facility technology environment.
- Prior knowledge of Mission Critical or Data Center environments is highly preferred.
- AutoCAD certification.
- Strong comprehension and interpretation skills for instructions, memos, and reports.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and respond effectively to inquiries from clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Capable of presenting information clearly to both small teams and large groups.
- Working Conditions
- This position requires flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may involve on-call responsibilities for emergencies.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this role is (HOURLY RATE 35 TO 39). Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
