Archiving Expert - Production planning
Day to Day job Duties:
Understand the Data retention requirements of client for each data set, Help formulate data retention policies
Analyze the impact of Data archival/deletion based on the retention, retrieval, Audi and compliance requirements and configure the Data Archiving process as per the requirements

Test the impact of data archiving/deletion on the business processes and integrated processes and third party systems.
Present the archived data retrieval capabilities for each archiving objects to business users and get their buin for data archiving
Help business users in training on archived data retrieval
Document clearly the design, configurations, testing of each archiving object
Execute Data archiving/ deletion jobs in Production system and monitor the jobs to completion avoiding any system performance impacts.
Document pre and post archiving metrics
Create variants, Schedule automated archiving and deletion jobs
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects designing and configuring PP modules
Deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) configuration and design elements
Knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM ,QM,FI,CO)
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
Design, customize, configure and testing of PP business cycles
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
Must Have
Expertise in SAP Archiving for Production Planning.
Experience in Analyzing the impact of SAP Data archiving on various business processes and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
