● Conduct thorough evaluations and experiments to validate and iterate on model performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
● Integrate closed and open-source AI models seamlessly into production environments.
● Maintain, monitor, and improve the performance of existing AI systems, ensuring their scalability and alignment with organizational objectives.
● Document processes, methodologies, and findings, clearly communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
● Stay current with the latest advancements in generative AI, LLM development, and related technologies to continually enhance product capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a related role.
● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Keras, Scikit-learn, etc.
● Proven experience in developing and deploying production-grade applications and services using ML/AI models, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG) systems, evals, agentic framework.
● Comprehensive understanding of various ML/AI models, including RAG systems, with the ability to evaluate and recommend models and technical approach for different scenarios. Strong grasp of architecture, performance optimization, and trade-offs between different AI methodologies.
● Hands-on experience with fine-tuning and/or training AI models, backed by a track record of measurable performance improvements.
● Proficiency in designing AI model training pipelines, working with large datasets, and utilizing advanced tools for AI model customization.
● Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods.
● Experience with AI architecture patterns and cloud-based deployment strategies (Azure AI preferred).
● Ability to work with both closed and open-source models, optimizing their integration for product needs.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong communication skills and team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience in developing and deploying multi-agent systems or frameworks.
● Knowledge of generative AI use cases specific to healthcare.
● Familiarity with MLOps practices for automating and scaling model deployment.
● An understanding of ethical considerations in AI development and deployment.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is HOURLY RATE $60.00/hr/W2 to $65.00/hr/C2C. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
