Summary

We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions across our organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive innovation.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with teams for effective implementation of recovery solutions.
  • Conduct regular assessments and updates to ensure the preparedness of our IT systems for potential disaster scenarios.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities and performance to ensure adherence to SLAs and contract terms.
  • Foster productive relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient and effective disaster recovery operations.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure alignment and progress of disaster recovery projects.
  • Act as a point of contact for any IT disaster recovery-related queries or concerns within the organization.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT disaster recovery, and project management.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and applications, as well as related disaster recovery principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience in conducting DR planning & testing.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
