About the role:
We are seeking a lead who will champion the pre-launch efforts for prioritized pipelines assets at Novartis. In this role, the associate will coordinate the efforts behind the commercial, medical and access strategy that is designed to accelerate the time to bring new innovations to the market that will improve and extend the lives of Canadian patients.
This role sits within the Value & Access team and reports to the Director of New Product Planning.

About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Build partnerships and advocacy with physicians and patient groups
- Optimize regulatory & access pathways
- Accelerate market shaping for upcoming pipeline assets
- Cultivate brand positioning with clear identification of the right patient
- Partner cross-functionally to co-create and execute on brand strategy
What you'll bring to the role:
Essential:
- 5+ years in Canadian pharmaceutical industry
- 3+ years in pharmaceutical marketing & brand management (including building and executing a brand plan)
- Experience in 2+ therapeutic areas
- Experience working cross-functionally (medical, commercial & access)
- Experience in mining primary and secondary data
- University ungraduated degree or higher
- Language: English is a must, French is preferred
Desirable:
- 3+ years in a customer facing role (sales representative, MSL or KAM)
- Canadian HTA experience (CDA/INESSS)
