About the role:
We are looking for innovative, experienced and passionate communicators who want to have an impact and make a difference joining us to reimagining medicine. As Associate and External Communication Manager you will be responsible for supporting the creation and execution of corporate integrated projects, internally and externally, collaborating in a dynamic environment.

The role reports directly into the Associate Engagement and External Engagement Lead and will work closely with the rest of the corporate affairs team as well as several cross-functional teams.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a key partner to various stakeholders, contributing to the creation and implementation of end-to-end communication projects to enhance corporate positioning in Canada.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational management of our digital ecosystem.
  • Develop and deploy all internal communication materials, optimizing processes and reinforcing our culture.
  • Manage strategy reviews, content development, activation and reporting across social media, thought leadership and website management.
  • Design and execute key internal and external events such as townhalls, community days, national meetings and more.
  • Ensure compliance with content creation and brand guidelines across all communication touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with preferred agencies and external vendors to coordinate project and campaign development.
  • Provide support to the Lead in managing issues and sensitive communications.
  • Ensure focus on data-driven projects and insights generation to anticipate trends and enhance corporate positioning.

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's degree, university diploma or an equivalent qualification with 6-10 years of experience in communications.
  • Excellent writing and copy-editing skills in both French and English.
  • Demonstrated ability for creative thinking in campaign development and experience-building.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Resilient and adaptable to evolving landscapes.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and energetic individual.
  • Fluent in data analysis and proficient in anticipating and identifying communication trends.

Desirable Requirements: :

  • Fully bilingual in French & English.
  • Utilization of Objectives, goals, strategies and measures (OGSM) framework, a goal setting and action plan framework used in strategic planning with measurable results and assessment.
