About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistic Analyst to join Novartis W&D operations team in Brazil. The candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our warehouse and distribution processes, collaborating with multiple third-party suppliers, including logistics operators and carriers. This position involves leveraging SAP systems, supporting financial governance and driving savings projects and operational improvements.

About the Role

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Implement enhancement projects to increase warehouse and distribution efficiency, reducing costs and improving service levels.
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and transportation companies to ensure compliance with service agreements and operational standards.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize SAP and other analytical tools to monitor key performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Financial Governance: Support and execute financial control and governance within the W&D area, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial policies.
  • Project Leadership: Participate in projects focused on savings initiatives and operational enhancements, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes and ensure alignment across the supply chain.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on performance metrics, project progress, and improvement recommendations to senior management.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Cost Savings: Measure the impact of implemented projects on overall logistics and distribution costs.
  • Financial Compliance: Assess adherence to financial governance standards and budgetary controls within the W&D area.
  • Supplier Performance: Evaluate third-party supplier performance against key service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Project Milestones: Track the successful completion of project deliverables within set timelines and budgets.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of 3PL data inputs in reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Financial Knowledge: Experience with financial governance and budget management within operations.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
