We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support our Global Clinical Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing medium-complexity projects, ensuring the delivery of IT solutions that meet business requirements and align with the overall IT strategy.
Direct project teams (externals) and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectives
Setup and run all project related meetings and maintain the record of actions, decisions, issues, risks and act the primary point of contact for all project related escalations

Ensure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release.

About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations. Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, managing risks and issues.
- Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practices
- Deliver projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectives.
- Alternatively, may support the provision of services that contribute to managing the enterprise IT project portfolio, including development and implementation of project management standards and training, portfolio reporting and analytics, project management resourcing services, etc.
- Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion
- Own project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels / tools and ensures that these are reported back to agreed pr
- oject governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.
- Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope
- Collaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project . Expertise in supporting Head of Business & Operations in creating the strategic plan and then driving the same towards implementation

Role Requirements
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar OR relevant experience
- Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE 2 is preferred
- Prior experience in delivering GxP solutions within GDD Clinical IT landscape
- Knowledge of clinical development operations systems, processes and tools is desirable.
- Ability to work and collaborate in matrixed teams to deliver projects with interdependencies like integration components .
- Experience using various project management methodologies including Agile
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Capability to help the Program lead / portfolio lead to structure plan, estimate, deliver, deploy and operate the project as required
- 15 years of experience in Project Management . Ideally this would include experience of these areas in regulated environments, because of the high impact of quality and controls in the Pharmaceutical industry. This could include non-Life Sciences work
