Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer who will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on CAPEX projects within the area of following disciplines: Process Piping (GMP and non-GMP); HVAC installations; Clean rooms; Civil works and Utility Equipment

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Project Cost Estimation & Value Improvement Review
  • Prepare all the required documents, plans and reviews as part of project management : Risk assessment, Project Charter, Project Scope Statement, User Requirement Specification, quality planning, procurement planning, projects reviews, commission planning and functional specifications.
  • Identify technical solutions
  • Perform project HSE management & execute project safety reviews
  • Develop Project Execution Plan; execute project construction execution (installation supervision)
  • Prepare, review and approve drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations and datasheets in project
  • Perform new equipment FAT / SAT / inspections in project
  • Perform commission activities
  • Manage project deficiencies and deviations
  • Develop project execution strategy and execute investment projects according to customer needs (costs, schedule, functionality, quality)

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc.) or equivalent
  • 5 years of engineering experience thereof 2 in investment projects in Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Extended HSE and GxP/QA knowledge
  • Good collaboration and inter-personal skills
  • Fluent in English and Dutch

Desirable requirements:

  • Proven project management skills including contract management and project controlling
  • Broad interdisciplinary knowledge
