Job Description
Creates the strategic retention and growth plan for existing network customers with the goal of serving and renewing accounts. Develops and maintains existing client business relationships to increase the adoption of provider network. Cross sells and expands opportunities to existing clients where possible.
Job Responsibility
- Promotes awareness and use of products and services to prospective organizations including self-insured and full-insured employers throughout the New York metropolitan area.
- Establish, cultivate and manage relationships with consultants and brokers
- Strategically plan, negotiate and influence the interactions and relationships with customer, their broker/consultant and internal team members to achieve strategic account goals

Identifying customer's needs,Working with Northwell Health resources to craft a solution proposal,
Continuing use of Northwell Direct products and services through knowledgeable use of comparisons and contrasts with other providers, Providing after-sales service.
Preferred Skills
- TPA Experience
- Experience with Self-Funded clients
- Experience at a large health insurance carrier
- State Life and Health insurance license or willingness to obtain
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, required. Knowledge of Marketing and Sales concepts, required.
•Minimum of 3-5 years progressively related sales experience including experience with products, services, operations, customer service, marketing and sales techniques.
•May have some functional supervision duties and tasks (e.g. project management)
•Solid Microsoft based experience with presentation applications, required.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, required.
•Payer, occupational health or wellness services experience preferred.
•Combined Sales & Account management experience preferred
